Alcohol can cause Cancer; Now you know.
Saw an exposé on this on the National last night . Have to say the first time I have heard of a link between Alcohol and Cancer.
According to the World Health Organization, the main carcinogenic component of alcohol is ethanol which damages cells and can affect female hormones, increasing the risk of breast cancer.
Fraser Health's website notes drinking any amount of alcohol can increase the risk of mouth, pharynx and larynx, oesophagus and breast cancer, two or more drinks a day can raise the risk of bowel and colon cancer and three or more a day increases the risk of stomach and liver cancers.

Not that it matters to me, I'm a non drinker but sometimes I wonder if there is anything that we consume that doesn't cause cancer?

All the crap that is published about food makes one wonder - for every study that shows something is bad for you there is one that shows you it is good for you - eggs are one of those things - so is beer - so is sugar - cooking oil - bacon - little kids get cancer and didn't have any of those things - I have chickens and eat a lot of eggs - hope they are ok

I agree. there has been a vast amount of disinformation about food thru the years.....but Alcohol is a toxin...and lots of people die from it alone, so only makes sense that it will also slowly kill your organs by cancer.

Will also add that too much beer increases estrogen, which might seem strange seeing how it’s marketed as a manly beverage. We lose testosterone naturally as we age, so something to keep in mind.
Red wine & spirits don’t have the same negative effect. But regarding the cancer angle, I’m not surprised. Moderation is key.

Eggs are one of the best foods Joe, especially since you raise your own. Nutritional powerhouse and full of the stuff men need.
Look at all the silver/golden era weightlifters that would consume massive amounts of eggs. They all looked healthy not like the bloated drugged up guys today.

Cannabis doesn't cause cancer when consumed through infused oil, no smoking needed to reap benefits
