Default Cold morning puts down a coyote

Got to the farm at first light, setup and started calling right away using the ecaller as it was too cold to use my mouth calls.
I used some rabbit calls followed by coyote vocals, it took 20 minutes before I notice a straw coloured object on the far side of the bush-line that wasn't there a minute ago.
I see it move, its a coyote on the edge of the bush standing on a downed tree trunk. I put the scope on her and waited to see if she was coming into the decoy. But after 15 seconds or so, she turned sideways so I took my shot. She ended up falling over dead. It was cold out but not so cold to skin it out on site

You're a brave man to venture out on a morning like this... Nice dog Frank, now the object would be to get thawed out...

Your a die hard and the coyotes no match for your endurance....lol
It was -26C here this morning. Not going anywhere except in front of the fireplace with a mug of coffee...lol
Congrats once again on thinning out the population.

It was cold, but if you dress for it and knowing you are only going to be out for just an hour or so, its not so bad. Fingers sure got frozen though.

Congrats on the success. At this rate you sure are putting a hurting on the population by you. What do you end up doing with the pelts?
