Therefore- by default ,many are to see the world the way world is presented to us........and we know all the issues with that.
^^^^^ What he said. ^^^^^ Main stream media in the west is a giant left-biased propaganda machine except for FoxNews which is just as bad only on the other side of the coin. It all comes down to the degree of bullshyte you're willing to tolerate and whether or not one is sharp enough to know the difference.

Well this is unfolding pretty much like the US called it. Now what? Are we headed for a major conflict or is this another crimea?

    Either way it's not good.
Inflation will fallow and of course the blame will be laid on those without control of the situation.

Well,we're into now, aren't we? The gloves are off and Russian troops are flooding into the Ukraine as we speak. If Pres. Biden drops the ball, now,Taiwan will fall to the Chinese within the month and the entire western Pacific will be in jeopardy.

If it is just another Crimea then you can see any other former Block countries added, Poland will be on the list, etc, etc.

China is openly supporting Russia, so at this point there are 2 massive countries with massive resources partnering up.

On top of that Putin has suggested in a way that nukes will come to anyone who support Ukraine, so there is that too.

The Russians backed by China is a very scary thing to the entire world.

Ukraine is a bit of an economic powerhouse for it's size rich in Uranium, Titanium, Natural gas, and other rare earth metals and minerals it produces enough food to feed 600 million people every year and has a robust manufacturing sector. It is rumoured that Ukraine has been the corruption playpen for years for Biden, Obama, Clintons, Schwab, Gates, Romney, Pelosi and more say isn't Chrystia Freeland from there? It is my understanding that Putin is not taking over the whole country and is going in to protect Russian/Ukrainian separatists that occupy the lower third of the country bordering Russia who are under threat of attack by the Ukraine gov't and citizens.
