Maitland or Bayfield for Steelhead and Salmon?
Hey angler gang,
Just getting back into salmon and steelhead fishing and I was planning on going to head out in the waders this weekend. I was curious if there's a consensus over whether the Maitland river around Goderich area or the Bayfield River is better to fish right now. I've fished both with some success but not in many years. Plan on floating pink worms and roe. Any insights or recommendations are greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

From what I'm seeing water levels are still quite low upstream.

Just there a few days ago--there are a few fish in the pools scattered about--salmon are very dark---the water is just too low right now. With some rain and if they open some of the dams a little bit that could help.---pink worms are always a good bet

Thanks, I was out in Goderich today but couldn't get anything to bite. Did see one guy catch a very nice one though!

Harbour or the marina? Two different places.
