I watched a few videos of a guy going on paddling trips in northern Ontario (google Jonathan Kelly Lost Lakes in youtube - the dude and his videos are amazing) and he uses an Amok setup - looks really high quality and comfortable - have a look: https://amok-equipment.com/#slide-1

I’ve watched a few of his videos, even from his old channel. There was one where he was in one of these hammock tents in manitouwadge I think. Anyways there was a bear outside his setup and I just about spit my coffee when he referred to himself as a suspended twinky. Loved it. LOL.

Agreed! Me too. Jon is the real thing.

I watched a video of him on the Pic river with a bull moose staring him down and walking towards him, smacking its lips and grunting, obviously pissed off and aggressive. Jon to my amazement stood his ground, even though the bull could have been at him in seconds if he charged. Simply amazing.

Ps. Sorry to get off topic.
