I was wondering what app anybody uses to make their digital picture for renewing their PAL online?

I found this site to upload to but I have concerns because of it's location. I did some investigation into the company and they seem to be real but I'm still not convinced.

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

Yep, just take a selfie. I just did mine, sent the photo to my computer and downloaded it to the application.

On the PAL website app, there's a cropping tool to fit your photo. Like the other guys said, take a selfie, download to your computer and apply it on your renewal app. It works like a charm.

I just renewed mine. I tried a selfie with my phone but there was some fishbowl effect, so I ended up getting the wife to take a picture with a digital camera. Received the PAL a few days ago, no problems.
The cellphone picture would have been fine too.

OK So you don't shrink it down or anything as I thought there was a max size and pixels. So just a selfie and crop it?
