If there is less than 3 inches of slush I prefer Sorel glaciers above anything else. Way warmer than anything baffin makes. My feet sweat less because they're not encased in rubber. If slush, then Nokia Kara is my favourite. Much nicer liner than baffin and better for walking. A lot of trappers wear the Kara.

All great boot suggestions above albeit a bit pricey.
I wear a pair of Nokia rubber boots with a felt liner.
I also place a chemical toe warmer under my sock and am toasty for hours even with my feet in the slush.

Baffin Oarprene ( safety, work paid) great boots in slush in -30 Celsius.
Many times I had to use snowshoes as water/slush was higher than boots.
    Never had cold feet.

They may have been made in Canada at one time, but now made in China like everything else….

I opened the folder "Sale watch" in my browser while waiting for my tea to boil, since it was so recommended I thought I would let people know. *I put a bunch of bookmarked items in the folder "Sale watch" and once or more times a week I open all the tabs to see if there are any good buys.

Titan's on sale, no discounts on shipping though.

I wear one thin sock that is higher than the boot and the warm sock over that.

I also have a pair of Kamik (also made in Canada) that I have wore in the cold and they are good for walks and working but not put to the ice fishing test yet

Snowshoes can sometime work, mind you, I’m use to wearing them all day.
