What.... I thought he had the perfect leftist record ... send in troops, crack skulls, lie ALOT, if any trouble comes up blame someone else and make them take the fault in the public's eyes. With the 3 censorship bills they Libs plan on silencing the media will be part of it.

The Canadian Trucking Association and the American Trucking Association put the percentage of unvaccinated cross-border drivers at 16% which is not far off the percentage of vaccine refuseniks in the general population.

    https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toron...kers-1.6329870

The Canadian Trucking Alliance and the American Trucking Associations have said up to 26,000 of the 160,000 drivers who make regular trips across the border are likely to be affected by the mandate — roughly 16 per cent.
So the vast majority of cross-border drivers (84%) are on the job while a small rump group is having a cross-country temper tantrum and being a turd magnet for extremists, neo-Nazis and other kooks. It is worth nothing they've been on the road since Monday and if my grocery store shelves are any indication Canada's supply chain isn't being troubled one bit by their antics.

Sounds like the usual CBC "truth"... like Liberal "truth" totally unrelated to facts, divisive, disrespectful and complete b.s. fiction twisted to fit their talking points.

But atleast O'toole has woken up.

    P.S.

CBC, CityNews.... what next Toronto Star piece on the racist truckers? Waste of time posting a response.
So almost 1 in 3 say they are OK with "support allowing unvaccinated truckers" .... and somehow the delusional take that as they want mandatory vaccinations... I would have loved to see that question and the options, sounds like one of those "wonderful" statistics (leading questions, terribly worded options and probably the respondents not a distributed population.

The 16% figure was quoted in other media too and the information comes from the two largest trucking associations in North America.

And anyone who is imagining this "convoy" represents some great awakening may be crushed to discover that that public it would appear supports either vaccine requirements and/or mandatory test results for truckers crossing the borders.

Poll: 28% of Canadians support unvaccinated truckers crossing border
    By Meredith Bond
    Posted Jan 27, 2022, 6:11AM PST.

Almost one in three Canadians, or 28 per cent, support allowing unvaccinated truckers to cross the U.S.-Canada border, according to a new poll.

Those with this view are mostly likely to be from Alberta with 35 per cent followed by Atlantic Canada at 30 per cent and Ontario at 29 per cent.

The poll, conducted for CityNews by Maru Public Opinion, also found that the majority of Canadians believe truckers should either be fully vaccinated or have to provide a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of crossing the U.S.-Canada border.

The survey comes as a “freedom convoy” of truckers is making its way across Canada to Ottawa for a rally. The drivers left B.C. on Sunday and are opposing the federal vaccine mandates for cross-border drivers.

As of Jan. 15, all truck drivers entering Canada from the U.S. must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The U.S. has also invoked a similar mandate for Canadian drivers entering the U.S. however it does not apply for U.S. drivers returning to the States.

Those who aren’t vaccinated and cross the border will be subject to testing and quarantine requirements.

Drivers taking part have argued the mandate violates their freedom, prevents them from making a living and slows down the delivery of food and other products to parts of Canada.

Of the 72 per cent who believe there should be a screening process at the border for truck drivers, 36 per cent believe they should be fully vaccinated while another 36 per cent say the driver should have to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taking within the previous 72 hours.

These survey was conducted on Jan. 24, 2022 involving 1,519 randomly selected Canadian adults who are Maru Voice Canada online panlists and has an estimated margin of error of +/- 2.5 per cent, 19 times out of 20.

Actually the Truckers associations and various companies have been stating between 85 - 90% are vaccinated so you need to state they are Lying.

I hope that the fringe groups don't get violent because if they do all credibility is lost.

The Video is cute, sounds to me he is advocating violence in a subtle way. It seems you might be hoping for violence as well I do know some on here would definitely encourage it. Getting violent at the Rally will not end well no matter what you or others want to think.
