I agree Sharon........I saw several Trump flags for whatever reason. Funny how you will see US politics creep into a Canadian anti vaccine & anti lockdown protest. But I guess any opportunity so showcase your narrative. I did see a guy with a big banner saying "Vaccines Save Lives" walking towards the hill.......probably not a wise move but then again we will probably read about him in the morning.

They are driving along Rideau in front of Parliament between Elgin and O'Connor. I also saw a long line-up of trucks alone Queen Elizabeth Drive with police escort.

There are 10, 000 trucks that came and are coming up from the U.S. but I'm sure there are some Canucks flying them too. This thing has taken off all over the world, Australia, U.S.A, Finland, Germany, Holland, Italy just to name a few more countries holding their own convoys to end the madness.

Could be a symbol of freedom and 'standing up to the establishment' to them, who knows? Could be a troll comparing what they believe to be a strong and decisive leader to a mealy-mouthed softy. The 'MAGA' sentiment is very much shared with this group for good reason. The dems turned their backs on the working class and called the backbone of the country 'deplorables'....same thing with Trudeau's divisive rhetoric here.

Just some food for thought. Enjoy the events!

FishFood has called it right. They pick some donkey with a big mouth out of the crowd and put him on TV as an example. Media bias and steering the message to protect Justin.

I don’t want a Jan 6 event either Sharon, but objective reporting shouldn’t be too much to ask.

Well let me tell you something - I've been around long enough to see how things work - peaceful demonstrations seldom get results and if they do it takes forever to get results - the politicians look at peaceful demonstrations as a way for the people to let off steam and do nothing - it's only when the people take to the streets and cause disruption that they take notice - black people learned that the hard way - it wasn't until they started rioting in the streets that politicians took notice of their complaints - same thing in the early days of union organization - this country wasn't formed by people peacefully marching around - it was formed with fighting - there is a time to notch up the resistance because people are losing their freedom - if you don't see that I don't know where you are looking

Went from Kingston to Belleville this morning about 9am, passed at least 3 groups of convoys, each about 50 -100 strong minimum travelling east. The "NEWS" Thursday stated there were about 3oo trucks stopped in Kingston overnight, pretty sure their numbers were pretty similiar to the numbers you would get if you asked the bucket brigades how many fish they kept.
The media is not interested in reporting truth, they are more interested in bias and divisiveness that they hope will inflame enough minority groups so they can be labelled as right wing, racist, uncontrollable, radical, bigots, whatever it takes to further divide people so they can not unite as just a bunch of true CANADIANS with different ideas.

    Just follow the money trail.
How many truckers would be driving across the country on their own dime?
It is a political move on behalf on the political right wing in Alberta, the separatist Maverick Party in particular.
And yes many fringe groups have jumped on board.
The only thing the federal government controlled was the vaccine mandate to cross the boarder.
And with the US government playing their trump (not Donnie) card it wouldn't matter either way.
Other mandates are controlled by Provincial Premiers.
