I think many persons that donated were under the impression it was for the truckers, if it’s not, and there is some hidden agenda, it might anger some.

Just follow the money trail.
How many truckers would be driving across the country on their own dime?
It is a political move on behalf on the political right wing in Alberta, the separatist Maverick Party in particular.
And yes many fringe groups have jumped on board.
The only thing the federal government controlled was the vaccine mandate to cross the boarder.
And with the US government playing their trump (not Donnie) card it wouldn't matter either way.
Other mandates are controlled by Provincial Premiers.

I don’t think a serious Wexit movement is a bad idea. Might wake a few people up. Left wing wing nuts that populate the capital and GTA might wonder where the money will come from when Quebec can’t rely on Alberta & Saskatchewan anymore.
