They are going to shake things up in a peaceful protests. Maybe the media should of told the truth instead of calling it an anti Vax movement . Or the pm calling it minority fringe party lol.

They are there to send a message and enough is enough .

When the crazy comes out they are going to stand strong and ignore any insults. They are banding together to make sure it stays peaceful.

    All the power to them.

Can't win a battle by acceptance and when things turn upside down in a peaceful manner there will be no choice but to talk.

Where is the pm today? No video message for all on the hill.

I think regardless of the protests the mandates will end this year.

When I see a women dancing on top of the grave of "The Unknown Soldier" it sure would have turn violent if I was there.
Group around her chugging beer & chanting her on.
If this is what some want to see than things will get tense with the Veterans community.

Yes city News just said its more like a party than protest. Good vibes and staying positive will help and that has beed the plan the entire time. Not to go there cause disaster and leave like some suggested.

Still trying to wrap my head around anyone who is actually against freedom.

    Pro's:
    - Large groups maskless in malls (although some people have not worn them since the beginning, most people have complied out of fear and being unaware of their rights)
    - People "illegally" eating indoors and supporting local businesses who desperately need it. No one enforcing the mandates
    - Boost in hotel bookings (see above)
    - Many people opening up and taking mandate signage down. Inspired to be brave and finally grow a spine
    - Another huge blow to whatever shred of credibility the msm still has...as they try to keep the covid narrative on life support
    - Unified country waking up to trampled charter rights
    - Canada on the world stage, inspiring similar movements in Australia & Europe
    - Positivity, smiles, laughs and a much needed boost of Canadian spirit after 2 long years we'll never get back
    - Hope for children
    - Trudeau and the libs on the backfoot
    - Typical lib tactics of meaningless slurs (racist/sexist/bigot, etc.) and manufactured outrage being completely exposed and rendered ineffective
    - Increased support for PPC and end of days for O'Toole
    - Close to 8.4 million raised and climbing, to support the truckers with any extra funds going to veterans

    Cons:
    - Woman dancing too close to the grave of the unknown soldier

Overall seems like a huge W in my books.

Too close? How can you get closer than on top of it?

I vaguely recall you supporting the defacing and removal of various statues by anarchist leftists a while ago in another thread.
If that's true, please stretch thoroughly before you try and reach this far

If you are asking about my opinion on this Terry Fox statue, off the top of my head I will offer the following:
    - I was not aware of this
    - The statue is not harmed, destroyed or removed
    - The spirit of freedom and unity is clearly visible here, and animates those who adorned the statue
    - Fox is a symbol of the free Canadian spirit and of perseverance, who led a similar journey for a noble cause
    - Those important distinctions aside, I can see how this would be viewed in bad taste by some. I personally wouldn't do that myself. Wonder what his family thinks?
