I agree that for maybe the first 2-3 months when things began, no one knew exactly what it was, how dangerous it was, etc. Would your arms fall off? Would your head explode? It was like a sudden panic from a sci-fi movie. Remember the toilet paper shortages haha. Once it became known to be just another type of corona virus like sars things should have relaxed. But they didn't...they clamped down harder.

As a reminder:

- The government dropped the ball big time with LTC homes
- They grossly inflated the covid deaths (died of vs. died 'with'). The average age of a covid death exceeded the average life expectancy age...
- They banned us from freely moving but never stopped international flights into Canada (even from places with high case #'s)
- They constantly flip flopped on the rules and measures
- They admitted you couldn't get it from surfaces
- They admitted cloth masks are useless
- They've downplayed the dangers of the jabs
- They admitted the jabs are not effective (even though we were once told 90%+ at stopping transmission)
- They lied about vaccinations getting us 'back to normal' and it went from something like 60% 1 dose to now wanting 100% at 2/3
- They lied about ICU capacity
- They lied about reopening and kept moving the targets
- Failed to issue corrections or apologies, and sneakily edited things hoping no one would notice
- Called for increased censorship of dissenting voices, implementing a soviet-style campaign against 'misinformation'
- The elites were all caught maskless, partying, dining, and travelling in defiance of their own orders, etc.
- Still haven't issued any public announcement about the importance of exercise, vitamins, socializing for mental health, etc.
- Threw their own citizens under the bus for daring to question or refuse experimental treatments
- Rode roughshod over our charter rights
- Created division through fear
- Caused massive unemployment, countless suicides , countless injuries

And so on. Sounds like a giant psy-op to me. A massive social engineering scandal designed to facilitate the largest transfer of wealth in history, and to usher in a new era of surveillance and control.

It's not an overstatement to refer to this as a form of tyranny. To engage in the relativism of "we'll it's not that bad, at least we're not living in Bangladesh!" is a complete avoidance and totally besides the point. It's true that things could always theoretically be worse, but that doesn't stop us from choosing and maintaining the good. We're now being handed back little crumbs of freedom that should have never been taken and we're supposed to be thankful?

After 2 years, knowing everything we now know and going through so much hell, there is absolutely no excuse for not lifting all mandates immediately.
Those who choose to continue living in fear of a virus with a 99.8% survival rate are free to wear 4 masks and a hazmat suit to go grocery shopping, that is their right. But it's high time to put the big boy pants on and move forward.

The hope of millions who support the convoy for various reasons is exactly that. They hope this wakes some people up and speeds along the reopening. And most importantly, that we don't let something like this ever happen again.

Ok so now Trudeau is the scapegoat for all the anger caused by ALL levels of government regardless of stripes and the private sectors mandates.

Out of curiosity what do frontline healthcare workers and the majority of scientists think of the mandates? Have we ever asked? After all they see first hand the effects of the virus.

I guess it boils down to how you define peaceful. The chief seems to think no murders equals peaceful. I disagree but then again I don't have public career to consider. I mean 4 men threatened to gang rape my friend because she was wearing a mask, rocks were thrown at an ambulance, someone yelled racial slurs at one of the paramedics, harassing volunteers at the Shepard of good hope and stealing food from the homeless. Does that all sound peaceful to you?

On top of all that people where displaying Nazi symbolism with impunity. Which frankly is an attack on our Jewish population not to mention the countless others who were persecuted under the Nazis. People are unironically saying everyone has a right to exist as a defense of this behaviour when the people they are defending literally do not think some people have the right to exist. Disgusting.

You seem to be disillusioned that the virus is a foreign entity here when it is more likely to be a collaboration than not I.e. Winnipeg lab, Prime minister sueing the Speaker of the House to have records sealed, gain of function research funding. It's comical that you're telling me to turn off the media!!! Why have the definition of words like pandemic and vaccine been changed in the middle of it? Why would we only pursue an experimental remedy instead of all and proven remedies? Why would you want to hide the results of your clinical trials for 75 years? Where did the flu go? Why have the majority of countries followed in each others footsteps? Why was it such a good opportunity to reimagine the world's economy and have a great reset so early in a pandemic? Why have Trudeau and cabinet, the president of Argentina and his cabinet, French President Maccron, German Chancellor Angela Merkle just to mention a few all graduates of Klaus Schuab Davos school? What is event 201? Why is Bill Gates considered the world's top health authority? Why can't you connect the dots?

Well I'm someone living in the city actively monitoring the information rolling in from main stream media news to videos my friend are taking from where they live downtown. I have no agenda here besides pointing out what a farce and a show this weekend has been. The honking is absolutely rediculous I watched a stream someone shared where they had there TV at 75% volume at 23h30 and you could not hear it over the honking. These truckers didn't disrupt parliament this weekend all they did was torture the citizens of this city. Now they are being moved out block by block and the cops are planting snow removal equipment as blockades to prevent more from coming in.

That's not my claim. There have been protests and peaceful non-compliance/civil disobedience for the last year and a half to no avail. People are just as angry at their respective premieres.

We all see first hand the effects of the virus, considering most of the population has either had it or know/live with someone who's had it.
