Yes the provincial leaders should be in discussions it's gone Canada wide and growing.
They also said for all the truckers to stand strong without confrontation. No resistance let them do what they are going to . Some reports of a few military personnel this evening. Also a rumor of the town buying tow trucks. They want the city to stop spending so much since they come without violence. They want it to stay peaceful they say there is no need for the heavy police pressure lol.
Cheers this is just the beginning.

Well I disagree on the heavy police presence not being needed. Its there to prevent the demonstrators getting into a fight with counter demonstrators. Now you might say there are no counter demonstrators, that is true but the police and Mayor have asked that none attend.
The police are there to protect both sides. You can bet your last dollar that if there had been no police in Toronto on the weekend there would have been a bit of trouble with counter demonstrators. The only one's that were there were Doctors and nurses.
There is a fine line here to be drawn, the Ottawa Mayor was on CBC this morning and expressing upset that a demonstration this size in his City was actually IMPOSING AN ADDITIONAL LOCK DOWN ON HIS CITIZENS.
But taking all that into consideration I do agree with you this is just the beginning and as soon as that penny drops with those in power that this is not going to end any time soon the better it will be for everybody to find a solution. I do not believe our Military or Police have much of an appetite to move against its own citizens.
If the movement is big enough there are not jails, detention facilities or any other means to contain a disenfranchised public.
In any event there are no charges or arrests that could be made that would stick in a peaceful protest, BREACH OF THE PEACE would be the only arrest power and that is only a temporary short restraint time period.

Yes , I believe the Premiers and provincial public health were following the Rocket ship modelling and Public health Guidelines set out by the Federal Chief Public Health Officer.

Not much money has ever been held back for anyone, everybody took their relief payments.
If the provinces who were anti vax and anti mandate declared that right from the get go and on principal took no money that might be different.
