"The opposition as you put it did not in the past behave in this co ordinated attack on Democracy affecting so many innocent citizens.

There will be a political price to be paid, we shall see in the end who pay's the piper.

In the meantime the TAXPAYERS which I hope includes all of us on here will be footing this bill in one way or another."

Sounds like you are referring to P.M. Peoplekind

Are you going to allow any immigrants into Canada?

Where are those immigrants coming from and why there?

What are you going to do about China?

What are you going to do about Russia.

I'll be glad to have my tax dollars help fund freedom.

I pay into many I disagree with you too like the free bail out to big corporations who don't need it.

Ah yes, the old appeal to authority argument. "I'm more qualified therefore your facts are invalid"...which is just another way of saying "be quiet"
You have no knowledge of my background as it relates to these matters.

I don't think you've taken part in these demonstrations for a while since your retirement. You certainly haven't policed during the fires, looting, vandalism, murders and violent assaults that took place for the better part of the past few years...that were cheered on as justified and "mostly peaceful" by the democrats and libs here. Things have changed, and politics have gotten dirtier unfortunately.

There is a price to be paid whether you do or do not engage in politics or other civic duties. We have been paying a political price and have been slaves to political symbols for the past 2 years, and millions have suffered terribly.

How many innocent citizens are affected by this so-called "attack on democracy?" The only attacks I see are by some police officers on innocent people, and by a leftwing anarchist driving into a peaceful protestor.

We all pay in the end, no way around that. Death & taxes the only certainties.

Speaking of funding, the givesendgo is now almost 6.7 million USD...and has been going up at a rate of about $80,000 / hour.

Then you didn't police at the Ontario Legislature in the late 90's. I saw protests much larger and more violent outside my office window than anything seen in Ottawa during the last two weeks. Left wing protestors attempted repeatedly to storm the Legislature and tried to prevent MPPs from sitting. All of downtown Toronto was shut down during the Days of Action protests. Hamilton was hit too.

I supposed you didn't police the G7 meeting either or remember this from a recent an anti-Doug Ford protest.

Meanwhile, Ottawa's city manager says tow-truck companies on contract with the city are refusing to move the big rigs that have gridlocked downtown for a second week in a row.

This is one small HONK for Ottawa, and one giant HONK for ‘people kind’
