We really need to get over people reusing terms. It’s a commonality. It doesn’t indicate anything nefarious. It’s petty to draw conclusions on such coincidences.

At what point does the use of such terms or phrases become statistically more than a coincidence? What level of repetition does it take for people to recognize it as a weaponisation of the term or phrase? Probably more importantly, what level of repetion is required for the intended context of a specific term or phrase to stick in the target segment of public opinion?

Imagine being on the wrong side of history while it repeats itself. Kinda like failing an open book test.

Speaking out under the Emergency Measures Act you could end up being accused of sedition or threatening to overthrow the government. They have the tools to freeze your bank accounts, confiscate your property and all with no questions asked or a warrant needed, just because they want to. Prove me wrong. Bill Blair just spoke this morning saying that the Act was to financially punish those they wanted to, and to make tow truck operators do their bidding.

I think one would really need to be looking for these coincidences to make them fit their narrative. Since when can we not share terms or phrases?

I stand by my statement. You don’t have to agree with government, but you must follow the rule of law. That’s the beauty of democracy. If the Ottawa protest organizers didn’t twist their agenda to manipulate a small group of people to do their bidding, their would be no need for the emergencies act. As more information comes to light, we will get a clearer picture of the entire situation. Of course there will be those who won’t believe it, even if it’s true.
