I'm sorry that you didn't appreciate that but it was warranted after your ridiculous suggestion that an old lady at the front of the police line along with other protestors were engaged in moving a police line back add to that the fact you seem to think that they are warranted to act in a reckless manor endangering lives and causing injury as long as there is a SIU investigation and a pittance of a civil suit. You keep bringing up Oka and conservatives so I'm sure deep down you realize that this really is/was about preventing dissent against a failed leader turned dictator.

No this was about a right wing insurrection using the trojan horse of the truckers vaccine mandate. Every Canadian can see what has happened here and any escalated use of force was the result of the crowd pushing against the police line, PRIOR to the horses being used.

Most people seeing mounted horses know they are there to keep order THEY ARE NOT THERE FOR A PHOTO SHOT, once the horses started to move any rational person would have moved back, she did not and suffered the consequences, I have zero sympathy for her or the guy who also did not move back.

Apparently Ottawa police and Justin Trudeau don't recognize Rebels Press accreditations and were prohibited from their right to report. The only footage I've seen from them was a female reporter getting struck with a baton and the aftermath of being shot point blank with a tear gas cannister.

I didn’t see police pull the trigger, but I did see what appeared to be a firearm on the ground. I do recall the police reporting that protesters did try to take their firearms. I wonder if this was that instance. Too bad that rebel video shows nothing. I’m sure there are other videos with a better vantage point to tell what’s going on.

One would think that a cameraman with her would have that shot captured or that any of the DOZENS of smart phone cameras would show her being struck either with a baton or a tear gas cannister.

Must've been Alec Baldwin holding it. Give it a break peaceful protestors did not try and disarm the police it was more than likely dislodged from it's holster when the officer behind were pushing the officers in front into the protestors. I've seen other videos with her pants right off SHE WAS SHOT POINT BLANK WITH TEAR GAS. Go ahead and search them out. Cameracutter has some excellent advice a ways back on how to do that.

Well considering the jury on this forum alone does not hold to your viewpoint and even some members on the ground have refuted the second hand accounts you are trying to sell I think your out of luck.

The great thing in this country is we have places called court's and people called Judges who will look at all the footage, including all the footage shot by police observers and make calm and orderly judgements. Doctored footage will be excluded.

I’m sorry but you’re flat out wrong. The protesters were told to leave and under the emergencies act should have listened. They were not allowed to be there. This unfortunate incident is the fault of the protesters. The evil you speak of is the far right extremism infiltrating our Canadian society from disgruntled Americans spreading false information and hate. The manipulation of this movement on some in our population is evident to the majority of Canadians hence the lack of popular support for the blockades and protests. We need to stop beating around the bush here. The “anti mandate movement” is really an anarchist movement trying to bring an end to the current liberal government. Most provinces have announced an end or a plan to end mandates. I’m sure the federal government is not far behind. But even these actions have not satisfied the appetite for change from some. Let’s not BS anymore and call it like it is.
