So Tamara Lich, who helped organize the most peaceful protest in history and continually expressed the need for positivity and peacefulness is denied bail.
But the wacky antifa guy who ran over a protestor (and hit 4 in total) in his Jeep is granted bail.
Hhmm...I guess he was wearing his mask though, and so signalling his allegiance to the regime proved helpful.

No protest that requires the police to remove it by force can be categorized as "peaceful." To meet that standard the protest would have left when it was asked to do so.
Lich is behind bars because her testimony did not convince the judge that she would cease her illegal activities. If the judge believed the guy who hit protestors with his car was going to continue to run people down he'd still be in jail too.

Interesting twist at the Pat King bail hearing. Could be more charges pending?
https://twitter.com/cmaconthehill/st...30354230431749
Crown says a year ago Pat King's firearms licence was revoked, and alleges since then King has been in possession of a restricted firearm. Crown now ties that to King's online statements that the protest would end in bullets

The judge that presided over Tammara Lich's bail hearing was runner up for liberal candidate in her riding in the 2011 election prior to being appointed as a judge after making significant donations to the LPC.

If Lich's counsel believes the judge's past political involvement affected his decision he is welcome to apply to a higher court for a bail review.

I guess the illegal aspect of this protest gets glazed over? Can’t say they were too peaceful toward the police no matter how you cut it. Too bad they couldn’t follow simple rules, they pretty much sabotaged their own movement. It’s amazing how much credibility you lose when you start a protest with one goal, only to change the goal once you have support. I’m sure some people are realizing the manipulation they faced by the protest organizers by now. It would be interesting to compare the donation lists from gofundme vs. givesendgo to see how many repeat donators there are and to see how many are foreign vs. domestic. Another weekend is upon us, let’s see what numbers will protest in major cities.

Sure you can. They were extremely peaceful and respectful of police overall.
What illegal actions? Blockades? That’s a separate issue.
