No protest that requires the police to remove it by force can be categorized as "peaceful." To meet that standard the protest would have left when it was asked to do so.

Lich is behind bars because her testimony did not convince the judge that she would cease her illegal activities. If the judge believed the guy who hit protestors with his car was going to continue to run people down he'd still be in jail too.

It did not require police to remove it. That was Trudeau’s decision under bogus emergency orders because heaven forbid he gets honked at. And the police did not want to, which is why they imported nameless goons who obscured their identity.

Furthermore you are focusing on the final day rather than the weeks of peaceful and playful activity in order to discredit the entire thing.

When I go into the bush for a walk, that is peaceful. Air horns blowing at all hours of the day and night, not so much. Maybe you mean it was non-violent, but even then I think intimidation is a form of violence.

I’m sure Trudeau would not have removed the protesters had they just removed their vehicles and stopped blocking traffic. Poor decision making skills on behalf of the protest organizers and those manipulated by them.

Lesson learned: you can’t decide to take over an area of any city and hold a 3 week dance party without repercussions. Who knew right??

LOL Well,let's not get carried away. If The Silly Sox was to resign tomorrow,all I'm saying is that Freeland is the only viable short term alternative (Deputy PM) until an election is called. I have every confidence that Candice Bergen would have an iron grip on the CPC leadership even if the GG called a dissolution of Parliament triggering an election despite the fact that CPC policy dictates an interim leader can't run in a leadership race (IMO another dumb rule that needs to be removed).
