They are making an example of this guy, the fact he had a lengthy criminal record from his own accounts did not help him.

He will do a few months of "dead time" get his two for one credits and be released, probation for a lengthy time with strict conditions.

I’m sure Trudeau would not have removed the protesters had they just removed their vehicles and stopped blocking traffic. Poor decision making skills on behalf of the protest organizers and those manipulated by them.

Lesson learned: you can’t decide to take over an area of any city and hold a 3 week dance party without repercussions. Who knew right??

The court of public opinion has been and will continue to judge Trudeau on his words. It is also and will continue to judge the protesters. Unfortunately the protesters unleashed their anger on the citizens of Ottawa in hopes to affect the government in a way as to gain public support. This strategy was faulty.

The frozen bank accounts makes perfect sense in response to a group that has been organized to bring about changes to a democratic government by having the GG dissolve parliament and form a coalition with protest organizers. The threat to overthrow a democracy is a serious matter. It is unfortunate that good intentioned protesters were manipulated through so much misinformation as to follow the organizers. If only the people in the protest had asked the trucks to leave and continued the protest on the hill or the sidewalk things may have gone differently.

Even if you "assume" that some portion of it is from US, you are still left with LOT MORE local support them the poll in question
