More recently, MacKenzie was spotted at anti-government rallies in Ottawa in late January and early February, which paralyzed the city’s downtown for three weeks.

It said he was spotted in Ottawa. So what I know many that were in Ottawa does that mean he was part of the organization?

Are my friends that went are they terrorists definitely not.

Glow wanted information linking him to into being one of the leading organizers? Otherwise he his just another protester expressing his views on line.

With all these distractions what's happening with Canada where are we going ? What's the plan ? Besides the agenda and what will it take to achieve these goals ?

New charges will make it harder for Pat King to get bail and could result in a bail revocation of the others.

Prominent organizers of the 'Freedom Convoy' occupation of downtown Ottawa are facing new criminal charges.

Tamara Lich and Chris Barber are now jointly charged with mischief, counselling mischief, intimidation, counselling intimidation, counselling obstruction of police and obstructing police.

Both were arrested on Feb. 17, a day before police began moving in to clear demonstrators from downtown Ottawa streets.

Barber was released on bail the next day. Lich was released on bail on March 7.

Barber had previously been charged with counselling to commit mischief, counselling to disobey a court order, counselling to obstruct police and mischief. Lich was previously charged with counselling mischief.

Another prominent leader of the protest, Pat King, is also facing new charges after appearing in court Thursday afternoon.

King, who remains in custody at the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre, now faces 10 charges along with a co-accused, Tyson George Billings. Those include two counts each of intimidation and obstructing police.

The three-week occupation cost the city of Ottawa an estimated $36.6 million, the majority of which was for the police response.

A parliamentary committee heard Thursday that the OPP identified the demonstration as a national security threat one week before the federal government invoked the Emergencies Act.

Been a while they sure are trying to send a message. Drug dealers are out way fast
Heck the guy who ran people over was out faster

My kid wonders how another kids in school has 73 charges against him when he is still out harassing others and is a menis to society.

Trudeau would not want to face the same accusations so can be expected to keep the restrictions on for a few weeks longer than he might have otherwise.

The federal mandates are targeted almost entirely at the unvaccinated. The only inconvenience the vaccinated currently face is the risk of a random COVID test upon returning to Canada. Otherwise we are free to come and go as we please.
If that's the case then you just admitted it's a purely punitive, non-scientific measure. So it looks like we agree on that point.

I would argue provincial leaders were caving to the demands of people by not lifting things -- being accused of caring more about re-election, money etc. than health and so on. The convoy absolutely sped up the ending of restrictions and caused the 'science' to change. They've been saying "just two more weeks" for two years. Enough was finally enough, even for the mild mannered and patient people of Canada.

Trudeau seems to just be doubling down out of spite, which again proves:

    - the whole BS covid theatre as exposed by the protests
    - the PM'S extreme incompetence & mishandling of the situation

The Ottawa police did say they were observing the protests with intent to charge people at a later date. They gathered lots of data.
