I’m in very good shape for most of my needs.
Only thing I need to buy is 20 and .410 shot shell.
Might have to get #6 instead of 7-1/2 ?.

If you’ve been in the game a while, this shouldn’t be a surprise. I feel bad for people trying to get in to it, but if you’ve been through a few US regime changes, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that there will be shortages leading up to, and immediately after a Democrat being elected. Covid sure hasn’t helped anything! I really learned my lesson in 2008. The moral of the story is buy it cheap and stack it deep when times are good. And I don’t mean a hundred primers at a time. Quantity 1000’s. Don’t buy one pound of your favourite powder at a time, buy 4 pounds. Same with projectiles. Buy 5 hundred at a time of your target bullets, a couple hundred of your hunting bullets. Otherwise your stuck searching and competing with every other guy that didn’t plan for these cycles. And you’ll pay large! I watched guys at the Canadian tire the Saturday before rifle season griping at the gun counter that they couldn’t get ammunition for their 30-06s when I was in looking around. Moral of the story, don’t buy one, buy four…. Always!
