The Canadian Firearms Program (CFP) now offers an Online Licence Renewal Application which can be accessed at:

It's easy, fast, and a secure way to renew your firearms licence.

If your firearms licence is about to expire, renew it online today.

The fee associated with the renewal of a Possession and Acquisition Licence will be increasing every year on March 31.

The online renewal is great. I've used it for my last two renewals and from application to arrival in the mail box took two weeks each time.

You should be getting it soon, unless there is an issue..I got mine in about 4 weeks.

Ten days for mine. Because my son had a bout of depression after he closed his trucking business 8 years ago,his renewal is taking almost a year to wend it's way through the bureaucracy.
