After all, innocents died then as well.

Sad for all the innocents ,i disagree with sufferings- no war is just.

I watch a guy close by-he jumps on every each "fad of the month"...now he has Ukrainian flag hanging on his porch.
Never seen "other" tragical war events in the past making his tresshold though.
    So hypocritic.
It's the first major war to be viewed by the world in real time .

The unfortunate thing is our government admitted there will be only one side of the story.

Funny I didn't hear much about them .

What about the war in America open borders and free cell phones to track them all. Until they sell them off lol. Over 1 million new Americans just walked on in. 25 to 50 people an hour walking across in some places.

You did not seem concerned about these wars in your past postings BUT suddenly you feel the need to defend Putin, very strange.

You also seem to be very naïve in believing Russian propaganda, I think you need to stop tuning into Channel 1 in Russia at 9pm every night.

I'm not to concerned it's been happening for decades. But I guess it only really matters when it involves the west's investments.

Only want the truth and not be quick to judge.
Seems putin was right on a few things that the west called mis information.

This is an easy war to end or it can drag out with the west's involvement. Then again we were already heavily invested .

We all loose the longer this drags on but it's ok because some people want it that way. More than just a war at play here .

IF you want the truth could you stop using so many know fake sites? Could you actually do some research? It's not hard I am going to assume you won some sort of computer or something to search the web with.

It's like the person who a month ago posted on here that Pfizer had been de listed from the stock exchange because the so a YouTube video. They could not be bother to visit the stock exchanges for themselves (I suspect they didn't know what a stock exchange was).

Pei is up too the place with masks on but hey in Ontario it's because we took it off. Lies lol. Or just not the whole truth.

Too many YouTube links are used as news or facts. They’re usually just opinions or fake news conspiracies tailored toward a certain demographic for the purpose of views and monetary fulfillment. It’s pretty hard to ignore msm when every countries own msm reports similar news on Russia. Except for maybe a few countries.

Deflecting blame from Russia to the west for this aggression is pretty sad.

It’s strange to me how Russia is indiscriminately bombing Ukraine and laying waste to Ukraine's infrastructure and population, but they take a retaliatory tone if they suffer defeats (ie. sinking of the maskova, destruction of fuel depot inside Russian territory). Did they expect Ukraine to sit idle and accept the invasion and destruction?

Also curious, is the Russian orthodox patriarch in Moscow. He is clearly supporting Russia's military campaign without hesitation. You would expect a man of the cloth to be against violence and war, especially when those warring are of the same religion. It must be making some orthodox parishioners in Ukraine scratching their heads.

I think the world will get tired of this conflict soon. For weeks we have heard the repetitive call for weapons and support from Zelensky. Eventually, the call will go unanswered. There has been no backing off from Russia, and people in the west will tire from the standstill. Russia should not be allowed to claim victory in any way, shape or form. It would only bolster its ambitions in the future. A “game changer” event would need to occur to set a stricter, more involved west in this conflict.

Will Sweden and Finland join nato? This would definitely upset Russia.

Putin’s propaganda machine is not perfect. So far he has tried to squash any domestic resistance to his invasion of Ukraine. He’s done a good job at shutting down free speech, but people in Russia still protest and still get arrested for doing so. As long as people in Russia have access to unaltered internet they will see the truth. I can only speculate that some time in the future the general population in Russia will rise up against its leaders and oligarchs and demand a truly free and democratic society without corruption.

Definitely agree with your last paragraph, but you could even insert Trudeau or Biden instead of Putins' name in as well as Canada or the US for Russia and it would still apply. Your last sentence however is like a unicorn rainbow horn as there is nothing close to resembling a "truly free and democratic society without corruption" that I know of except in science fiction.

Probably the best interview I have looked at since the conflict began. Well worth watching for actual facts.

Now that the Russian flag ship has been sunk, probably with all on board, Mr Putin will have a lot more to explain to the Russian people.

The Ukrainians have a stock pile of Ukrainian made Neptune anti ship missiles and at least 20 mobile launchers and with a range of 170 miles
I suspect Russian sailors might be a tad nervous. Russian tank drivers who do not want to be there will also be pretty nervous with the arrival of a whole host of anti tank weapons. The army now in Russian is having an internal war with the The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation both blaming each other for the failure of the war. This should get pretty interesting, all it will take is a high ranking Russian commander with some clout and western backing to turn against the FSB and it might be game set and match.

Putin a low level ex KGB agent should never have made it to power and like Hitler before him when in charge of his army managed to make a right royal mess of it and will probably end up with the same fate. With the amount of hate for Putin I would not bet on a long and happy retirement.
