How To Hunt In Cold Weather
With most of the hunting seasons coming during cold weather, hunters go to the extreme to stay warm. What does a deer do to guarantee it’s survival during the cold weather?

I would say they hang out in dense bush (cedars, etc.) areas where the bush blocks the wind and a swampy area where the water helps to temper the bitter cold. When done 'for the long term', this is loosely referred to as "yarding". A decent food source can become scarce and unfortunately deer can be reluctant to relocate which can lead to severe winter kill.

Welcome OP.

"Camo" is perfectly acceptable as a favorite colour.

Cold is easy for the deer-have accessible ,and enough food for them, and they are just fine.

Their hair is hollow, helps insulate for warmth, and also helps for swimming
