In the end folks, you are just receiving your own money back that the guberment forced you to give them, and did not get any interest on it to boot. This same money will be going back to the man in some form as they finalize a new plan to make driving a fossil fuel vehicle too expensive for the average working family to afford.
Your new electric vehicle as well as the charging station you will have to install in your home to "fuel" it up every night after work shouldn't be that expensive after you pay your other unneccesary bills like heating, food water, electrical and such.
Who knows, maybe your boss will install a few stations so you can reload your batteries at work for a nominal charge.
If you do live in an apartment building, I'm sure the landlord will install a few charging stations in your parking lot for you, as long as you can get home before everyone else to plug in first.
I see nuclear plants being a good investment in the near future for all this new load on our infrastructure.

Don't forget about the new road tax to follow the roads are fixed by the gas tax no gas they will have to tax you on the km you drive . The more you drive the more taxes you will pay for repairs.

Nobody expects any road to last forever, gas vehicle or electric vehicle, our weather alone means repairs.

Yes electricity will also rise . Possible black outs to boot as our grid is not built for it.
Fast already heading to Canada lol I know they did this already where they are further ahead in the electric vehicles. This is just the beginning tax for Saskatchewan base price until more switch. Other places are paying for how much they drive through a set of kms example 1 to 3000, 3000 to 5000 and so on, the more you drive the more you pay.
