Daughters first opener
She really wanted to go on the opener but since rain was in the forecast we skipped the opener. So this morning we decided to get out. There were lots of people already parked along the road but I was lucky to secure a hole a lot of people walk by. Within the first ten minutes we landed this nice steelhead and another hour later lost another. She had a great time and I was thankful she got to experience the fight of a fish almost bigger then her lol and I was thankful to enjoy it with her. Attachment 43501

Well done. It’s great to get the kids out. She must have been one happy camper.
I’ll probably get my kids out next weekend when it quiets down some. I’m sure I’ll be retying and getting out snags more than fishing. Lol. The joys!!

Outstanding! Congrats to both of you.
