Much like "trky chsr" stated , overall numbers seem down all over in Norfolk County. I didn't hear any gobbling near me until May 12th and have only seen one hen since then. Driving around hasn't really produced any sightings either but I did almost run over two hens that ran out in front of me.

I only got to hunt one day, the place I go for turkey in crown was being logged past few years, so no access and no hunters and lots of birds.
this year sadly they made a trail and full of foot and ATV tracks, and of course not much birds to be seen ...
but around my parents cottage in Simcoe I started seeing them alot since last weekend. a flock blocked mapleview road on my way back from hunting with no birds in hand lol

In my part of southern Wellington County numbers seem to be up. Saw and heard birds more often pre-season and filling a tag seemed easier this year.

We're I am, the numbers seemed to be the same for the last three years.
I dont know if that is because it's private property and nobody else hunts there has anything to do with the numbers
