Better day at Bronte this morning

Fished from 6am to 11:30 this morning. All fish came from roughly 80fow on spoons and spin doctor and fly.

Yes, a lamprey mark. So far this year I have caught 2 with lampreys still stuck to them;

I get out occasionally from Wellington. That triple header came in the boat the other night.

Friends are saying this year is awful for lamprey. Most matures have scarring and one boat has delt with 9 that have made it in the boat.
