Drove down to southern Minnesota to pick this little girl up this weekend! Her name is Loon and I can't wait to start working with her. There will be alot of "firsts" for both of us in the near future :

Beauty pup! Best of luck with her! Enjoy the process and don't rush. There is no timeline.

On the papers she is a GSP. I know there is the whole debate about black GSP's not being true purebreds but I don't really care about any of that! She comes from great lines and that's the only thing that matters to me.

About half of her litter mates had the classic liver roan gsp coloration but the other half of them were mostly black and white

Papers never pointed birds. With good breeding and some training and you'll be good to go.

Nice pup......Congratulations. The black GSP is a recognized in their native country, the only "people" on this continent that do not recognize the black are bench /show. Strange you can register with the CKC and AKC but do not show as it is a fault. This may be a great thought as the show/ bench have not had the opportunity to screw them up..
