Default Today I got a new pup

Brought home a new little girl today. Introducing Stella... she'll be 9 weeks old tomorrow. Just came home today. Pups always have so much potential (before we screw em up lol). Hoping I can get her into some woodcock around end of October (no guns of course). Jake is indifferent but Hank the chihuahua is not very impressed by the new addition.

Yes she is. I hunt over her mother so i am excited to see what this little one has to offer. No big plans this fall. Maybe try to get her into some woodcock without a gun. Other than that she's just keeping my wife warm on the couch.

Nothing like a new pup. Enjoy.

yup nothing like a new pup. What made you decide on a Small Münsterländer over a Setter?

I think the SM will fit my hunting style of a little bit of everything (like the cocker). Her mother won me over as I hunted with her a lot with with the hawks and she's phenomenal in the house. I think she'll be a good fit

No matter what the breed, there's nothing like a pup. It'll always put a smile on your face...

No matter how old we get, a new pup will put a spring in your stride and get you laughing out loud as they attempt to master life in your household and field. Good luck and many many years together.

There is no better guarantee that you will like what the dog will become than experience of hunting with the parents. If you like them you will like the pup. Just like people "the apple never falls far from the tree". All the best with her!
