    Default Never too early

Broke the tensioner on my chainsaw this afternoon so decided to change my afternoon plans from firewood to checking my ice gear. Erected the pop up to air it out and inspect for rodent damage. All good and ready for January 1st.

Eskimo Outbreak 450 insulated. Advertised as 5 person but really 3 is the comfort limit.

I just about pulled the trigger on that one, but opted for the 650 instead. Now I need a bigger sleigh.

That is a honking shelter. Might need a bigger heater as well. The collapsed length on the 650 is the same as the 450 - 75 inches. I use a Pelican 82 (82 inches being the length of the toboggan) and the 450 fits in nicely with enough room left over for all my gear. The 650 even though the same length collapsed must be bigger diameter when collapsed. Probably look at a Pelican 94.

I have the Big Buddy Heater and foam Gym mats… hopefully that will be enough. I don’t think that they produce the Trek 82 anymore and I’m making inquiries about the 94.
