Fall bear trip.
Realized I haven't posted in a while. So here's my fall bear trip.
Unfortunately yet again unsuccessful since we live so far from our bear hunting sites and only really have time to let baits sit for two weeks. I did however get a chance to take my longbow out for a spin.

The culprit was pretty obvious right away. Although we did have a couple hits and there was recent bear sign they were very hesitant to hit baits. Blueberries EVERYWHERE. So much so that the three of us picked over 80lbs in a total of 4 hours.

The pike fishing was also fantastic. We basically lived off of blueberries, pike, and venison for a week.

All in all a nice trip.

Good post and interesting photo's, I have a big sow and cub floating around my place, there is also a couple hundred acres of recently harvested Crown land besides me, I could set you guys up on that place if you want to do a hunt, Coe Hill area looks like 580klms from your place.

That sounds awesome. Thanks a bunch for the offer! My dad was thinking about heading up somewhere closer for a weekend so that sounds like a great offer. I'll PM you.
