What can I but enumerate old themes,
First that sea-rider Oisin led by the nose
Through three enchanted islands, allegorical dreams,
Vain gaiety, vain battle, vain repose,
Themes of the embittered heart, or so it seems.

I stopped cooking in cans like 35 years ago. In scouts I used a mess kit. But today I use everything.

I’m sure cans have their place, but with so many other options out there, why drag a can along. I’ve enjoyed building my own mess kits. Nesting kits are space savers and generally light. There are lots of great DIY ideas out there.

I like the idea of the can roasted grouse, however is it actually safe to use tin cans for this. After researching, BPA has been removed as a "tin can liner", but the other products are not all that safe either. If I was to do it over the fire, I'd lean towards cast iron. https://www.becausehealth.org/is-can...656521302.html
