Also, I get it not wanting to share hunting spots and all, I am mostly looking for just a rough boundary on where it is legal even legal to hunt in the western rural parts of the city.

If you go on iHunter or the Crown land use atlas you should be able to find some crown land near you. Living near big cities you should be expecting at least an hour drive to get to some crown land. There are some conservation areas that allow hunting that iHunter does a pretty good job of outlining those.
