Early Goose hunt
Well I went on my annual early goose hunt up north. We have had better years for numbers of geese. 4 of the grain fields we were going to hunt were chisel plowed on the Wednesday. We hunted 2 of them anyway on Thursday and Friday, so not as many birds as there were coming in. Saturday we hunted a grain field that hadn't be turned over yet but there hadn't been any geese in it. So we got 22 birds in total, compared to 49 last year, but as i mention in a different post the dog made it a much more enjoyable year. We also got a few doves as well.
