I’ve got the tactacam reveal xb. I bought it after reading all the spypoint issues everyone was having.
Setup was trivial and cost was 119 us bucks.
So far, this thing has been flawless and im loving the ease of configuration using the app.

You cannot update the firmware remotely on the Tactacams but on the plus side you don't need to as the cameras work flawlessly out of the box and there are no firmware upgrades except for one for the very first reveal model. This year I switched all my cameras from Spypoint to Tactacam and never been happier. They have been 100% reliable and work as they should - 10/10 for me.

lithium batteries are the way to go specially if you get lots of pictures
It's been going off steady all morning at the new stand location with 7 different deer and my wife is dying with her doe tag burning a hole in her pocket

I’m really late to this party, but I’m a newer tactacam user. It’s lights out better than spypoint. I have 2 of them now and will eventually have more! You can’t go wrong, super east to use and they seem to work all the time which is more than I can say for spypoint, although my cell links have been ok if there is decent signal.
