A foursome of Sprucies.
Had a nice friday morning ride and was lucky to pick these four off with 2 shots. MVIMG_20220915_103419.jpg

Great start to the season. Congrats on some nice looking birds, and impressive with only 2 shots. With the price and scarcity of shells, well done.

Good job Fisher. Nice Grizz too! Some characters around here don’t agree with “Ground Swatting” . It’s only going to get better as the leaves drop.

Ground swatting, lol. I figure if I can nail them dead on the ground, it's better than a couple pellets and they still fly away to die. No wasting the resources.

Lets not dredge up that old debate. clean, legal kill and its all good. Would love to ground pound grouse but with the dog not a wise move.

Yes, legal and a panful of Grouse filet is the only thing that matters.

Congrats on the DOUBLE double! Would love to hunt where you hunt, but I am hoping for good luck myself when I head north in a week or three...
