On my dads camera. Just a little food for thought last year we had 0 bucks on camera only does. Year before that we had only bucks on cameras. This year its looking like bucks again. Pretty weird.

Yes I agree, that is a decent 8 point. I've had nothing on cam since May (except a couple of yotes from time to time).

I recently put up a "scent rope" (but used thick wild grape vines instead of rope) hanging off a "limbed" cedar post and urine scented dirt at the base. I threw down a bunch of wild grape clippings loaded with grapes by the nearby pines. Hopefully I'll at least have little critters to watch and wild grape vines growing next year. Not sure what to expect but what the heck. The soy/corn fields near me are being converted to a tree farm but they weren't really any special draw anyways.

It happens, last year I put out alot of feed and mineral blocks etc. All I had on my cams were massive racoon families and alot of cyotes was lucky to catch a doe feeding at dawn on the field edge.

This year we put the cameras out very late. We left them for a week and those 2 deer are the only ones that passed by. Hoping I can go up again this week or next as I made some potato and apple mash for them since the corn doesn't seem to be bringing them in . Well see, you never know!

Get a bag of Deer cane and follow the instructions carefully to activate it properly. I always had good luck with that. Deer and many other critters love that stuff.

Cool pics, thanks for sharing.I was using deer chow but the bears loved it as much as the deer did. Unfortunately the bears don’t share! I also put out trace mineral blocks and the deer come around regularly.
