Cordless drill
I bought an 8" Eskimo Pistol auger last winter and my older 18V Dewalt with upgraded 5ah batteries stalls out 3-4 times each hole. I have heard great things about the 18V Milwaukee Fuel with 5ah battery.
Can anyone recommend this drill or does it have the same stall issues.

Hey T i use a DeWalt as well with an 8 inch Mora. Mine drill is about 3 years old with the 5aH batteries and no stall issues - even drilling 40 inches on Abitibi. Perhaps yours is older. Regarding the Milwaukee i have only ever heard good things and my gut says it is a better rig than the DeWalt. That being said DeWalt has their new DCD999 with the flexvolt that is supposed to be the cats AZZ. Also you can get 15aH batteries for that sucker.

Good to know about the new Dewalt, 15ah batteries would rock an auger
Thanks
