    Default Bare Leg Buck

Nice chocolate rack on this guy, but what happen to his right rear leg? It's a bare as a stick. Possible coyote attack?

Very odd. I wonder how he will fare through winter if he survives the hunting season?

Weird. Another possibility is that his leg was caught in a wire fence.

I’ll put my bets on a fence being the culprit as well. Have seen and cut a few out over the years with same look. They somehow cope as they are tough beasts..

I shot a 3 legged buck a few years ago. The stump was healed over, he'd been like that a long time.
I didn't realize he was missing half his leg until I went to tag him.
