Divers arriving at Long Point

Was out on Sunday on the Inner Bay and saw small flights of divers ! Time to dust off the Reds and Can decoys. Water level looked down as compared to Opening Day but there was a decent West wind blowing but overall still lower.

Funny you should mention that. This used to be, Thanksgiving weekend that we'd head up to Nippissing for a diver shoot. We use to stay at a place called Camp La Plage. He'd call us when the Blue Bills started to show. Had our best hunt up there in a blinding snow storm Thanksgiving weekend years ago. We'd arrive on a Friday afternoon and he had the boats and motors ready for us. Big cedar strip boats. We'd just load em up with our decoys and off we'd go. Back before dark and check in to our cottage... It was awesome...
