Hello everyone, the controlled hunt is almost here! Those of you bow hunting are already out there as well.

Thought I'd start a thread for everyone to post their blinds/stand setups ... how you brush them in , surroundings etc. Always curious to see other people's way of brushing in stands or creating their own. I usually use burlaps around trees and throw some logs dead trees etc infront of it best I can.

This months mag actually shows a really nice way to build a ground blind with trees too like bushcraft shelters almost

. I'm thinking I'm gunna set something like that up in the spring next year. Anyways heres some pics of mine for this year. The roof still needs to get on there and I have some pine branches im gunnabbe laying hanging down the front.

. To the right of my stand is a little swampy area with high grass and some apple trees. Lots of main trails as well infront of me and to my left. Going up on Sunday to pull some cams and put my auto feeder up too.

Next few pictures are the view from the blind. Snapchat-1020805209.jpgSnapchat-805965097.jpgAttachment 44083Snapchat-27399485.jpg

    Really nice set-up.

I don't have any pics of my ladder stands. They are not brushed in but I have had them up for years. I change the straps every year and the deer walk around them like they are part of the woods... lol

Yeah most of blinds we have are wood box blinds been in place for years tree stand we don’t use much anymore. Few spots for bow we use year after year on beautiful days just natural big trees down sit behind evergreen on each side. Nice spots to afternoon sit

We have two down thanksgiving day. And a lot of stories of havn to sit so still with does at door step waiting for bucks to move In Close
Had one 12 pt 104 yd that layed down in open pasture for a 22 min nap have never seen anything like it before

    Elevated Blind:

    Ladder Stand View:

View from one of my favourite trees that i use the climber on - LOL this brings back memories - this was taken the day I broke my leg last year walking out in the dark:

Mostly now i use the climber but will also be at the elevated blind next week as the deer are hitting the apple trees in that vicinity.
The wilderness is not a stadium where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, it is the cathedral where I worship.

Here's a ground blind I set up in Aug. Tuck it into a bunch of evergreen blow downs.

Also have a tree stand and a fenceline blind which is basically my chair behind a cedar rail wall on this property. This box blind is supposed to be for late season shotgun hunt but I've been sitting based on where the cameras tell me to.

They say the only good wolf is a dead wolf, If that’s the case than I’ve reformed many a wolf.

We have two metal stands and two wooden ones (both will seat two guys) that we built into the crotches of old Maple trees . Great view as you can see them coming a lot better than on the ground plus it puts our stink at least 16 feet up in the air. Also, if it gets buggy down on the ground you are bug free up a tree.
