    Default rigs for decoys

    looking for suggestion for rigs for decoys as im hunting a creek and the depth drops off quick and i would like to have my decoys on one line any suggestions and right now i have each decoy on rope with weight,

    For a creek where the water is flowing you can make a gang rig all on one line with one heavier weight at the top end if it has any much flow to it. Still water you’ll want to anchor both ends.

    I use a jerk rig for a few decoys and have an extendable painter's pole with a stiff hook on the end for placing and retrieving single decoys. I use the pole for grabbing them from a boat as well when I'm solo.

    My first season I just had 50 feet of paracord, a 10lb weight and 8 decoys. a stick would work too just to tie the decoys off. just space them enough on the line so they don't bunch up.
