Get the most out of your forest camera by implementing these eight trail cam tricks from OOD contributor Justin Hoffman.
What can I but enumerate old themes,
First that sea-rider Oisin led by the nose
Through three enchanted islands, allegorical dreams,
Vain gaiety, vain battle, vain repose,
Themes of the embittered heart, or so it seems.

Some good points in that article. My cams all have the 12 volt connector option that I utilize with an several old car batteries that I have. Not good for a vehicle, but plenty of power to run the camera. Depending where I locate the camera, I'll use one instead of 8 AA's
Also, I make a concerted effort to remove any foliage in the zone that will trigger a pic. Nothing like looking at 500 pics of one tall weed blowing in the wind?
Another thing to watch out for, is the sun. Morning or evening sun glaring in direct line with the camera can ruin a lot of pictures.
