Biodegradable 2 stroke OB oil??????

This fall I was out fishing with my little 2 hp Suzuki OB on a back lake and it really bothered me to see some oil coming off the motor/exhaust and floating on the surface of the water. I would like to get some biodegradable 2 stroke OB oil for next year.

Has anybody used some they can recommend and results? Can it be purchased in local Ontario stores?

I encourage your perspective for trying to help the environment as much as possible, I bought an electric trolling for my boat some time ago and never looked back.

That oil slick you see is mostly Gas. Either get a four stroke motor, or go electric.

Thanks Greatwhite I will see if I cant purchase the Maxima as it appears to have more of a marine application. Will report back.

i used it before in my jiffy ice auger and blew engine if that helps not sure if oil related was issue but it was the one and only season

For 34.99 a litre they can keep it.
Also, no TCW3 certification for marine engines.

Like I said, the slick is mostly gas.. at 50:1, the oil is only 2% of the mix
