Sitting by the wood stove getting ready for the early morning. Our first official rifle hunt at this "new" camp so hoping for success.

We had a good hunt at Burks Falls. The doe was shot Monday morning and the buck was taken Tuesday afternoon. Yesterday and today was slow.

Hunting this week in WMU 73 really quiet except for logging equipment. The weather sux,swatting black flies and skeeters. Next week forecast calls for cold and snow. Hopefully,it gets the deer up and running. We'll be hunting in WMU 60 next week.
