Week one report
Week one had some challenges, wind was very swirly, was pretty warm also. All that being said we have a couple Does down. Next week should be better looking like cold and snow. Lot’s of birds in the bush out gang saw over one hundred. My brother was carrying a shotgun for deer and he kept some birdshot in his pocket. I snuck out once while the others were finishing lunch. Didn’t get 300 yards before I saw one. Made a great meal of grouse fried with back bacon.
They say the only good wolf is a dead wolf, If that’s the case than I’ve reformed many a wolf.

4 of us in area 42 for the week. lots of grouse seen but no deer at all..
Was beautiful temps for sitting around the camp fire at night, didn't even need the woodstove in the cottage most days.
Of course on the way out from my camp I switched out a trail cam card I keep on the road for security reasons and 40min after the last guy left yesterday had this.
So at least there are deer in the area, hopefully he is larger next year.
Anyway it was a great week with the guys
