Woodcock hunting across the pond

So doing a bit of channel surfing and came across a show at 6:00pm tonight on the Wild net work. Urban hunter caption reads woodcock hunting in Denmark. Might be interesting to see them do it on the otherside esp for a woodcock the size of our grouse.

Interesting episode. Woodcock hunting was just in the name. Could of focused on the dogs a bit as would of like to see more of the Long hair german pointer and the Munsterlander. Saw some ferret work which brings up a thought. How did dogs and falconry become exceptable hunting companions yet the ferret banned from the sport?
