I just picked up a snow dog now just waiting for ice. Hopefully two weeks for my speck and splake spots
That rug really tied the room together

Flip Over Otter Shelter, and a new auger for me. Had a Jiffy Propane 10" model but it is messed up after years of abuse and doesn't run right (been in shop twice could figure out/fix)

So not sure what kind to get now, or just another Jiffy, any suggestions?

Deep snow and heavy slush kept me home last winter and prevented me from trying out some new toys… Marcum underwater camera, Eskimo pop up shelter. I really want to try ice camping, so bought a big new sleigh (Trek 94) to haul all of my gear. Let’s see what happens!

I'm looking to upgrade my hand auger to a battery powered one. I've got my eye on the Ion alpha plus but the price tag is a little up there.

    Chris,
Get yourself an Eskimo pistol auger, clam plate and 5 amp/h coreless drill.
    You won't regret it

Huntnmachine, I’ve been considering upgrading to this setup from my manual 6”. Do you ever run into any issues with cold drill batteries in frigid temperature?

I got myself a new Strikemaster 40V with 8" bore. Looking forward to trying that out. No more smoking me out of my perm hut.

Sorry for the late reply, no
I keep my spare battery in an insulated bag with hand warmer inside
