I haven't posted here in quite some time. I used to have a very extensive gun collection which I was adamant about protecting. I marched in every march, supported every gun lobby group. I used to try to get a sincere level of interest in joining in marches, Joining our many gun lobby groups together to resemble more the united front of the American NRA. With that I often sounded off as to the extreme urgency of such plight. To which I invariably got "I don't care, I don't own any handguns" I would argue that it was soon to include everything... Nah ,your a handgun owner Standup go away... Well now I don't own anything that classes "Firearm" I only own antique classed guns.. So, I don't own any handguns. When ya gun toting lefties gonna stand up n fight????????

I think we need more people like Carry Price to stand up and lobby for us. The very next day Trudeau commented on Price's remarks stating he wasn't after the hunters, and since then has said that they are reviewing the amendment.. We here as a group have made our plea and have contacted our MP's. I believe he ( J.T.} has gotten the message. However we can't stop badgering him and our MP's. J.T. does not like conflict...

If you recall I have for years pointed out that The Liberals plan was to eventually take all firearms but not a single lefty firearm owner ever agreed with me.

My son might not get to inherit some of the things I own which is a big let down for him and I. I was hoping to transfer them to his name when he became 16 and got his restricted. I guess no point now in him getting his restricted.

I don't want any of you to loose your personal equipment that is not part of the problems. They blame guns from decade old crimes and say they are fixing the problems. If they are using examples from 30 years ago it's pretty far fetched.

Crossbows killed more Canadian citizens than the AR 15 and they say that gun is the problem. Now I'm not saying target the crossbow just using it as an example.

They always blame the gun and never the user.

The criminals will continue to be the problems not the law abiding citizens like you all that need background checks to lawfully own and use the guns.

In my place i work at,we have many challenges,issues etc(like any other high production place).
We have been accustomed to the notion-do not just point at the problem(kind of easy to see, easy to point at)but offer solution too.

What was the solution with positive outcome -years back to avoid this mess,and what is the solution now?
As far as You ("disillusioned" or "i predicted so") is concerned.
